We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to contribute to strengthening the Swedish Armed Forces' and Sweden's capabilities. In this role, you will work with a focus on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) as well as the Swedish Armed Forces' training and transport aircraft systems. About the position

As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in leading and driving test assignments within the areas of electromagnetic compatibility and the Swedish Armed Forces' training and transport aircraft systems. You are responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring the project's goals, activities, resources, economy, and schedule to ensure delivery with the right quality, within budget, and according to set milestones.

Furthermore, you lead the project team through goal management and work closely with partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to drive projects forward. You work with the entire chain from planning and procurement to analysis, decision-making, and reporting of project documents. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the project's execution, where you monitor progress, handle risks, and ensure that the project is conducted according to current regulations and working methods.

You also contribute to the development of processes, methods, and working practices within the operations and can, if necessary, take on the role of campaign manager.

The position is located in Linköping. Domestic and international business travel may occur.

About you

We are looking for you who are educated as a Civil Engineer or University Engineer, or have other relevant technical education and project management training, or alternatively have equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as comparable. You have current and relevant experience in leading projects with subordinate project members. The position requires a B driver's license as well as good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

Meritorious is current and relevant experience of technical system work, testing operations, or work within the technical field. This also applies to the use of project planning tools such as MS Project or equivalent. If you have knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' aircraft equipment and its tactical, technical, and operational use, it is an advantage.

Within the business area, you will belong to Test and Evaluation (T&E) Air, which operates in the aviation arena. This means working with verification and validation of aviation-related products, primarily on military platforms such as the Gripen and helicopters. The goal of our operations is to support other parts of FMV with specialized competence and to lead operations within verification and validation.
